1. About These Terms
These terms govern your use of the Weany mobile application and the website at weany.app (together, "the Service"), operated by Techzio Consulting Limited ("we", "us").
By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. The Service
Weany provides a guided 30-day baby weaning plan. The app suggests one food per day, tracks your baby's reactions, and highlights allergen introductions. Key points:
- The first 7 days are free. The remaining days can be unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase.
- All data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate user accounts or cloud sync.
- Content is for general guidance only and is not medical advice. Always consult your health visitor or paediatrician before introducing new foods, especially regarding allergens.
3. Pricing and Payment
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not handle or store your payment information. Pricing is displayed before purchase and includes applicable taxes.
Refund requests for in-app purchases should be directed to Apple, as they process all transactions. You can request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com.
4. Not Medical Advice
Weany provides general weaning guidance inspired by established nutritional research. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You should:
- Consult your GP, health visitor, or paediatrician before starting weaning, particularly if your baby has known allergies or medical conditions.
- Seek immediate medical attention if your baby shows signs of a severe allergic reaction.
- Use the app as a helpful guide alongside — not instead of — professional guidance.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service.
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense any part of the app or its content.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Intellectual Property
All content in the app — including food data, illustrations, text, and design — is owned by Techzio Consulting Limited or used under licence. You may not reproduce or redistribute this content without our written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- We are not liable for any health outcomes resulting from following the app's suggestions. The app is a guide, not medical advice.
- Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In summary: we do not collect personal data. All app data is stored locally on your device.
9. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may update the app or these terms from time to time. Material changes to terms will be reflected by an updated date on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
